Brandtree designed the packaging for the artisan Musgrave Craft Gin.The historical elements in the design blend the look and feel to a contemporary nostalgia through the typography and retro elements.

Musgrave Gin is no ordinary spirit – it is an artisan gin celebrated for its top notes of Cardamom, African Ginger and Grains of Paradise.

The 11 botanicals used to infuse the gin are celebrated in the poster design Brandtree did to highlight the intrinsic value.

Delaire Graff Sunrise

Delaire Graff Sunrise MCC, named after the magnificent 118.08 carat Delaire Sunrise, the largest square emerald cut fancy vivid yellow diamond in the world cut and polished by Graff Diamonds, the Delaire Graff Sunrise Brut is resplendent in its own right with its pale yellow colour.

The concept of the design was inspired by the facet lines of the sunrise diamond and the cutlines of the diamond were incorporated into the label to symbolise the infinite detail to perfection eminent in the design of the packaging as well as the product. The design symbolises the commitment to detail and elegance, which embodies the Delaire Brand. The simplicity of the neck label adds to the elegance of the design buy creating a distinctive difference in appearance from traditional MCC’s.

We are proud of the result and the design has had great success.

Natura Sugar packaging was created for the Natura Sugar company based in Mauritius. The sugar is truly un-refined and one of the very few traditionalist crafted natural sugars available. The range of sugars we designed positions this brand as a contemporary brand and its shelf impact is designed to attract consumers with its bold colours and simplicity of design. In essence it needs to attract consumers like bees to a flower to sample the sweetness of the natural product. The design is very well received and has already started creating a stir in the sugar market as an alternate healthy option to conventionally refined sugar.

Colaboration between the Walter Battiss Company and Brandtree has led to a range
of dynamic products featuring the images of one of South Africa’s most famous
artists Walter Battiss.

The design project was created to celebrate the vibrant art of this multi-talented
artist. Walter Battiss silkscreen images have been transformed by Brandtree
into wallpaper, ceramics, fabric, cushions and many more still to come.

This exciting project is a proof that art is timeless.

The certification seal for the Wine and Spirit Board of South Africa was developed as a distinctive endorsement
for sustainability and Integrity in the South African wine industry. The design was a benchmark for Brandtree
as it was the final design selected from various agency presentations. The subsequent approval and roll out of the
seal onto every wine bottle that is exported from or distributed in South Africa was a great achievement for the
power of good design. The success of the seal is eminent in the positive feedback Wines of South Africa

has received worldwide.

The WWF Biodiversity & Wine Initiative

The Biodiversity Wine Initiative was a great project where an endorsement symbol needed to be developed
that projected the commitment of wine farms to the preservation of fynbos. The design was created to
feature an inverse silhouette of a sugarbird sitting on a protea. The sugarbird is the main indicator if
the ecosystem is in ballance. Therefore the sugarbird was the main element and the silhouette in white
gives it the prominence it needed. The endorsement is applied to all wine labels that comply with the
BWI set of standards of minimum fynbos allocation amongst the vineyards.

The Nomu range design development was created by standardizing the Nomu logo into a block format
and creating vibrant colour and dynamic textures to establish differentiation.

The current look has been enhanced by use of photography and bright colour and
textures to differentiate the ranges and offering. The brand has a coherent style that
is vibrant yet retains a classical design style and structure.
